// This post is part of a blog tour called Wear To Where, pitting shoppers against sewists. I really wish I was a sewist, but time just isn’t on my side at the moment. You can find the rest of the tour below. //
Well, we just love the football in our family. We’re not die-hard fans, sprouting knowledge at every turn, but we do enjoy watching it, and we do enjoy getting to a live match when we can. ANZAC day weekend saw us at the SCG to watch our beloved Sydney Swans win against the West Coast Eagles.
It was a funny day; the weather could not decide what it was doing. The sun was out, the wind came, the clouds blew over and we got drenched. And repeat. The kids got bored, but they’re little, and when it rains, you can’t exactly walk around the boundary with them to keep them interested, but we made it. And thankfully, our seats were undercover, so we are sheltered quite well from both the rain and the cool wind. Once everyone started to leave, we really felt how cold it had become!
Here’s what I wore to the football:
Jeans by Lee | black and white striped tee by Sportsgirl | black biker jacket by Ben Sherman | obligatory team scarf | shoes by Novo
Seriously, the shoes! They were completely useless for keeping my feet dry, but team spirit, right? They’re red! And cute.
Family fun and easy fashion for mummies. And if that doesn’t work take a mismatched toddler sporting her Swans jacket for success.
Disclosure: I do not have affiliate links with any of these brands – I’m just sharing them in case you want to shop my look 🙂 And also, don’t mind how I’m not looking at the camera. I’m not exactly easy in front of the camera… Comfort zone: side-stepped.
